Who/what is God?

I don’t believe in God in a formal churchy, dogmatic sense. To me, God Is a spirit, a higher power and it is within me. I believe in karma, and honour and in the laws of the universe. God is very personal.

What does strength mean to you?

It means integrity and being oneself against all odds.

If you were given only one more wish in your life, what would it be?

Never to be spoilt by complacency and never to be too cynical to enjoy what life has to offer. That there should always be something to look forward to.

Describe the characteristics of your soulmate, living, dead, past or present.

Someone I can be quiet with, someone who sees strength without being intimidated by it, and someone who acknowledges weaknesses without exploiting them. Someone who brings out the best it me.

Are you living your soul purpose on this earth?

I don’t know if I have defined that yet. I know I spend too much time on external issues. I haven’t created the necessary balance or space to think about it but I do try to live each day well and satisfyingly.

Describe the first thing you do when you wake up each morning?

I listen to the news, read two newspapers and then answer to my compulsion to go to work.

Did you do anything different in your 40th year?

I left a big job, terminated a long relationship and started honouring myself and my authenticity.

Fabulous

Who are you and how do you define yourself?

I am a hardworking, disciplined, perpetually optimistic and happy South African, somewhat over structured, but a loyal, loving mother, friend, and lover.

If you have a spare 15 minutes in your day what do you do with it?

I work but I would probably prefer to be reading a good book on the beach.

What happens when you die?

I believe in reincarnation. Wisdom comes from previous lives and I feel that I am an older soul. I am not afraid of dying because I don’t have many regrets. I want to be cremated.
