Who/what is God?

God is the higher being in all of us. It is the same higher being for all but we just call God different names. God is often found in silence.

What does strength mean to you?

Quietness, courage and bravery.

Describe the characteristics of your soulmate, living, dead, past or present.

First off, a fab sense of humour, humble, giving, adventurous and wise.

What advice would you give to a broken hearted 20 year old?

Andre Brink said it best in his novel “Dry White Season”. He said, “seasons come to pass”. Where there is pain there is also happiness.

Are you living your soul purpose on this earth?

It is to nuture and love three little souls and nothing is more important than giving all to them.

Describe the first thing you do when you wake up each morning?

I stretch!

Did you do anything different in your 40th year?

I had a (third) baby, started writing, had a life changing bicycle accident, started teaching yoga, had a HUGE party to celebrate and found the benefit of silence.

Describe your life in one word?

Rhythmical

Who are you and how do you define yourself?

I am a South African, a woman, a mother, wife, daughter, friend.

If you have a spare 15 minutes in your day what do you do with it?

I run to my computer to write. My writing is squeezed into little pieces.

What happens when you die?

I don’t know but I do know what happens when you nearly die. I had a near death experience being caught in a rapid on the Orange River. It was wonderful. I was met by friends and light, so when my time comes, I will not be afraid.
