I got to know him as a loving moral guardian. Anything that is good in this world is from God.

What happens when you die? I

It depends on how you live your life here.

What would you do with your last 24 hours on earth?

I would first make amends with past unresolved matters and then I would surround myself with my friends and family, in a place full of old memories.

Define success?

When one is truly happy in whatever one does.

Define what you do?

I am a Doctor at Provincial Hospital in Haematology. I get to see the effect of diseases like cancer, first hand, and get to help people. I had the privilege to be part of the first stem cell transplant in the Eastern Cape.

Are you living your life purpose?

Yes, definitely.

If you could ask God one question, what would it be?

Why do you make Indian women so hairy!

What is your greatest wish?

To leave the world and friends and family better for knowing me.

Describe your life in one word?

Destined.

Describe yourself in four words?

Misunderstood, loyal, passionate and reliable.

How do you think others describe you?

Arrogant, loud, dependable, sincere.

What are you afraid of?

Being alone.

What great lesson have you learnt and who gave it to you?

My ex, he facilitated my journey from being very naive to being more worldwise, and in that process, I learnt to trust my instincts.

What advice would you give to a broken-hearted 18-year-old?

This too shall pass. Time really does heal. Going through heart break makes you stronger. Scar tissue is always more resilient.

What advice would you give to someone starting out as a Doctor?

RUN…! Seriously though, medicine is a challenge and your intentions to be a doctor must be clear as it is a profession that blurs the line between your career and your personal life.

If you could rid the world of one thing, what would it be?

Prejudice.

What would you do with a spare 15 minutes?

Daydream, and let my thoughts flow freely.

Name a skill you would love but don’t have?

Cooking.

What moves you emotionally?

Honesty.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

My temper - Anger isolates people.

Do you have a surprising fact about yourself to share?

I have always wanted to be the creator of awesome movies.

What is love?

Is putting someone else first.

What do you think about South Africa today?

A country with unimaginable potential and beauty, yet we all seem to be “waiting” for something to happen. It is time to live out our potential now.

What do you think of the state of the world today?

The time has come when people are realizing that they need to stop taking so much. It is a time when we need to give back to this wonderful plant so that future generations can benefit.
