What/Who is God?
God is everywhere. Its what you believe in. God is the reason to accept whatever happens in life. We have all the same God. I am a Buddhist by birth and then converted to Judaism. As long as you have faith in whatever form, that is what counts.
What happens when you die?
I dunno. Tell you when I come back! Accepting death makes it easier and calmer in this life.
What would you do in your last 24 hours on earth?
A big family party in my restaurant, and whoever walks past can come in. The sadness in dying is only with the people you leave behind.
If you had a question for God, what would it be?
I would rather thank God than question him.
List a skill you don’t have but would love?
Some formal cooking training. Seriously.
Describe your life in one word?
Wonderful
Describe yourself in four words?
Human, emotional, humorous and loving.
How do others describe you?
Busy, funny, a good friend and a good heart.
If you could rid the world of one thing, what would it be?
War.
What are you afraid of?
Snakes.
If you have a spare 15 minutes, what would you do with them?
A good quick nap.
What does money mean to you?
A flowing element of life. Too much or too little makes you unhappy.
Define success?
A balanced human being.
What makes you sad?
I let all sadness and emotion flow through. It makes you sick if you hold onto stuff. And a good cry does that.
What advice would you give to someone starting out as a chef?
Belief, dedication, heart passion and resilience.
What advice would you give to a broken-hearted 18-year-old?
You have fallen, not died. It's good to have a broken heart as that raw feeling means growth.
Your greatest wish?
That my parents stay happy and healthy as they get older. I try to give back the favour of life as we all only have one set of parents.
Any regrets?
None. Past is past.
Describe what you do?
I am a mother, cook, creator, and businesswoman.
Describe the state of the world today?
Small.
