Andrew Byron

What/who is God?

Wow! – can I get back to you on this?

What happens when you die?

We just go back into the earth as a piece of nature.

What would you do with your last 24 hours on earth?

I would bungee jump.

Define success?

Hard work.

What does money mean to you?

It makes life easier.

If you could rid the world of one thing, what would it be?

Aids.

If you could ask God a question, what would it be?

Why did you take my mother when I was so young?

Describe yourself in four words?

Awesome, happy, kind and loving.

How do you think others describe you?

Generous, caring, fun and light.

Define what you do?

I provide a service to people who don’t have the time to walk their dogs, send their cars for services, drive to and from the airport, take kids to extramural activities, and most other time consuming every day things. In this way, I make lives easier for some people. I have found a great need for my services amongst busy people.

What are you afraid of?

Dying in a car accident.

What is your greatest wish?

To find someone who loves me.

What do you do with a spare 15 minutes?

I find a delicious cappuccino or depending on the time of day, a glass of wine.

Is there a surprising fact about you?

There are no surprises. I am what I am.

What is your current state of mind?

Good.

Describe your life in one word?

Awesome.

What moves you?

Generosity and the ability to give.

What is love?

Coming home and making sure that my partner has a cooked meal. Love is a verb. You have to do and show it.

What is one great lesson you have been given?

My gran always told me to love life for what it is. Take each day as it comes and see enjoyment rather than bitterness. She lived by example.

If you had a second chance at life, what would you do differently?

I would have come out as a gay person sooner. Living a lie is awful. And I would listen more.

Are you living your life purpose?

Yes – I help and give and it makes me feel good.

Why do you live in PE?

Its home, where there are beautiful beaches, and wonderful friends.

What do you think of South Africa today?

It’s a great country – I could and would never leave. It’s going to be ok.

Who do you admire?

Oprah – for her unfailing ability to succeed beyond anyone’s expectations. She had a very difficult childhood and has managed to positively change the lives of so many people.

What do you still want to achieve?

To grow my business into a full-scale service. I don’t have enough hours in the day to help all the people that require this service. Life is very, very busy for most people and I create “time” for other people.
